Presented by Dr Kip Homewood

A practical look at the growing opportunities in adult orthodontic treatment, including clear aligner therapy with Spark Aligners, interdisciplinary treatment planning and the types of patient conversations that help adults better understand their options.

This session will help you better recognise suitable cases, understand where adult orthodontics fits within comprehensive care and feel more confident introducing these options to patients.

Dr Homewood completed his Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of Melbourne before later completing a Doctor of Dental Surgery in Canada. After 20 years in general dentistry, he returned to specialise in orthodontics and has practiced as an orthodontist since 2000. He is a respected lecturer, examiner and honorary fellow at the University of Melbourne.

This is a highly practical session designed to give you useful insights you can apply immediately in diagnosis, planning and restorative decision making.

Dr Chen Chen is an Australian-registered Specialist Prosthodontist and Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, practising in Melbourne CBD and Glen Iris. Following postgraduate training in implant dentistry in Melbourne, she completed advanced prosthodontic and maxillofacial prosthetics training in Los Angeles at USC and UCLA. She also lectures and supervises postgraduate residents at the University of Melbourne.
